Welcome to the website for the Stratford Church plant 2026.
Stratford is getting a new church for the first time in over 20 years.
Our intent is to build a constitution from the ground up, and to work independently, while at the same time honouring the many traditions and denominations that have served the church through the ages.
So, in one sense, this church plant will be fresh, new and innovative. And yet the only novel thing about it will be that it is new and independent. The intent is that everything about this new church community will be that it is grounded in the timeless doctrines of the faith, handed down in scripture, once delivered unto the saints. And the hope is that it will mature, with the wider church, into a congregation that is part of a wider body of believers that know what it is to live for the glory of God alone, embracing all of Christ for all of life.
The official launch date for this new church plant is January 18, 2026. In the meantime, various meetings are being organised to set things in motion. A constitution is being formed, with a commitment to confessional theology that is broadly of the Reformed tradition, with a democratic structure of governance.
